it had awesome mods with alot of vehcles and stuff in it. when did you play starseige? it was only really at it's best when it was new. valkyire is awesome and for some guys who supposedly made it in their own time brilliant work. at least until someone does a beter job than dust 514 console/pc did at intergrating the two.

What i've recently been impressed with is the division (its waht tribes 2 tried to do back in the day with the community thing, possiblities for future addons etc.) - but it's still not a full on "pc" game ) and that just doesnt cut it for me. i remember not giving it much time because i was playing tribes 2. operation flashpoint was too "real" for me but still a good game prolly released too early (imo) as all games were back then. everything - the music, the modability, the skill level, the teamwork needed, the high learning curve. We'll never see games of that quality/longengivity again sadly unless it's a month by month thing but for games that were way ahead of their time like T2,ofp etc vr is a real possiblity in the years to come and it's were the money should be investing. still a good game in its own right as were the other iterations - vengeance (awesome grappling hook and maps/broken buildings etc that took away from just normal skiing runs- you could add a bit of a spiderman feel in there, people who played know what i mean), legion etc T2 had some brilliant vehcles and maps so big. Played starseige but found it to be very much like classic tribes for t2 - a higher emphasis on personal skill (never a bad thing) and less so on completeing tasks using teamwork and bigger team numbers.
T2 for me always will be, to date (quake comes very close). they should just make starsiege over with today's graphics and just add a few things. I tried this a few years ago at a friends house and didnt like it at all and after reading the reviews and watching gameplay i remember why i didnt like it.
The sick long range kills i would get used to get me kicked alot thinking i was using programs but we used to have a dummy firing range that u could have dummy npc shoot/fly out as if it was a player flying away and would just spend hours shooting ed to be a high leader in a guild called orb if anyone remembers it. about near the end of when i stopped last thin i remember was ppl were able to start using becons to have like a ship base spawn in and using launch pods and telepods and ♥♥♥♥ like that. miss dropping turrets on the walls then dropping blast walls after to protect them but still allowing them to shoot or getting my sniper and a mini ammo station and set up shop somewhere and pick them off with it or when using titan and charge cannon or even the nuke and charge the base and nuke it taking our alot of the def. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ now that was a game!īlastsides was my fav map. And yes, I agree it is a great game.I remember playing that game. This may not be an appropriate game for GOG to release.
